A grey wolf wandered into the area. Her hazel eyes scanned her surroundings. A slight crack came from her left. Her head snapped that way and she shrank into the shade. She watched as a deer came from that direction. She looked at it and licked her lips. Boy, was she hungry. She hadn't eaten in a while and she was feeling it now. The doe was by itself and unprotected, no doubt. She took a slow, stealthily step in the doe's direction. The doe stopped eating and looked Annouk's, the wolf, way. Annouk held fast. The doe dropped its head yet again and continued eating. Annouk looked at her and took a few steps the doe's way before making her move.
Annouk jumped heavily at the doe reaching for her neck. Annouk sank her teeth in deeply into the flesh of the doe's neck. She pulled fiercely as the doe tried to fight her. Annouk could hear and feel the large crack of the deer's neck. The doe fell lifeless under Annouk's jaws. Annouk drug the dead doe to a comfortable spot. She began tearing at the flesh and enjoying her first meal in what seemed like forever.

Annouk stretched and licked her chops. She was thirsty now. She looked around for a small stream at the very least. She really didn't want to walk around looking for something to drink. She glanced back at the doe. Annouk had eaten almost all of it. God, she must have been really hungry. She felt so much better now. She wanted to wander around and see what there was to do around here.
Annouk got up and wandered away from the carcass in search of a small anything with water. She finally found a small trickling stream and drank until her thirst was quenched. She looked around for possibly anything that looked the least bit intresting. She saw nothing and deciced to look around the area a little. She walked around the unfimaliar forest taking everything in as she went. She wandered passed the She was so bored and was in despreate need for something exciting. She continued heading out of the forest....or so she thought. She wasn't sure of where she was headed. She wanted to know more about this fasinating place....it was begining to intrest her. She smiled as she continued to walk on.

Litai sat watching the other fae silently. She had thought about stealing the pray from the other wolf but she really wasn't hungry, it would have been more for sport. When the fae moved from the meal the white one shadowed her. Silently black eyes watched from the darkness of the looming trees. Softly the white form went from tree to tree, trying to remain unnoticed. Where was this other wolf going?
The white fae continued to follow the other wolf, after all, she had nothing better to do. Litai watched the other one smile was she trotted along, content in her own little world. Part of her was jealous, the other part disgusted. How nice it must be to wander in an unknown land thinking that nothing can harm you. A malicious grin crossed the white muzzle, she had the advantage right now, she could kill the other fae instantly. With a sign she simply stepped from the shadows, voice sharp like the talons of a hawk. "Are you in the habit of wandering aimlessly, or is this the first time?"

Annouk had the faintest idea she was being followed but kept going none the less. She was hardly surprised when she was confronted, but highly surprised at which the tone she used. Annouk took this as an unfriendly welcome and returned the favor,
"No, I generally announce my arrival." She snapped back. Her voice dripped with sarcasm. Who did this wolf think she was? Annouk looked the wolf over. No doubt that she was larger, but Annouk wasn't really looking for a fight. She didn't have the time nor felt like it-surprisingly. She had no knowledge of the land at all and didn't feel like fighting with someone who did. She gave the white wolf one last glance and brushed passed her.

Litai laughed, this one had some spirit. Her fur bristled as the other fae pushed past her but she managed to keep her cool. Fighting her instinct to jump the haughty brat the white she wolf sat down and watched. She imagined the other one was thirsty, after a meal like that any one would be. Li was bored, had no place better to go, and was feeling "generous." She cleared her throat, loudly. "There isn't a stream in that direction. Well, there is, but it's quite a ways." That was all she offered up. She didn't tell the other wolf which way to head, she didn't nod in any direction, she simply sat there with inky black eyes, staring at the she wolf and waiting for a reply. She hoped that the fae would have some smart retort, could come up with something that really stung. To be honest, the lone white wolf probably wouldn't know how to reply if what was said back to her was nice.

"Well," she snorted, "Do you have a suggestion of which way i can go?" She stopped to look at the she wolf. Th wolf sat wih a grin on her face. Annouk wondered what was going on inside that head of hers. Something not good, she guessed. She looked the wolf up and down again. Stil tying to guessat the wolf's intentions. At first she had welcomed her with a remark meant to make her leave and now she was giving her help? None of this mad much sense to her.
Annouk looked at the she wolf waiting for a response. She was curious as to see what she would say to her next. She was quite paientent despiste her violent manner. All the while her mind was turning over many things about this particular wolf and memorizing them for, most likely, future reference.
